Here are a few of my favourite images captured during Jason and Kate’s engagement portrait session. We chose to shoot this session in their home located at Cape Schanck Victoria. I love it when I get to spend time with a couple who have such a strong connection like Jason and Kate . Jason prepared a delicious lunch for us to enjoy before embarking on a fairly tough walk down to the “Schanck” the scenery was breath taking. We were all pretty relaxed by the time we got back to their home. I’m really happy with the images captured and can’t wait to shoot their wedding in early March 2012.

Art and the Heart

Images captured during Dan O Day and Samm Blake’s Art and the Heart workshop. It was 3 days of inspiration and discussion related to improving my photography skills as an Artist and business owner. Pushing myself out of my comfort zone is key to success in this industry.Whilst engaging in this process I got to spend some time with other amazing like minded creative people. I hope that we all will form our own Creative Collective and provide each other with support during our journey down the creative path.

Stereosonic 2011.
December 2011

This December I ventured to the Massive Stereosonic Dance Music festival. I tried to capture some of the emotions and atmosphere. It gave me a chance to let my PJ skills shine. So many people. So many Daisy Dukes. I stayed away from the main arenas as I was just getting smashed in the mosh but as luck would have it the good music was on the smaller stages. So many people posed for photos but it was the found or sneaky pictures I live for. Here is was my take on the day / night.
